They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. It’s not. It’s actually a pretty obvious form of theft. It’s the stealing of style and the theft of thoughts. I thought these thoughts. I wrote them. I placed them here. I shared with you. Don’t just take them. And if you do steal them - let’s not pretend it was flattery. Flattery is when you take something with a kernel of the truth and prostitute it for personal gain until it’s no longer true at all: he is funny; he is funniest. I’m not flattered when someone tries to whore my gifts, my talents, my thoughts, or my words; I’m litigious.
